Nix Patterson Legal Scholarship Award

Pursuing higher education is both an exciting and challenging journey that often requires significant financial investment. Nix Patterson seeks to recognize students who have shown dedication to their studies, perseverance in overcoming obstacles, and active involvement in their communities.

Application Requirements:

1. Submit a 500–700 word essay and/or a 1–2 minute video introducing yourself, your educational and career goals, the challenges you’ve overcome, and your commitment to community service.
2. Provide an unofficial copy of your law school transcript.

All applications will be reviewed by a panel of Nix Patterson attorneys and staff. Recipients will be selected based on academic achievement, community involvement, and the clarity and inspiration of their submitted essay or video.

The Nix Patterson Scholarships are one-time monetary awards to be applied directly toward tuition or educational expenses. Winners will be notified by email, announced on Nix Patterson’s official website and social media channels.

1. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
2. Must be accepted to or enrolled in law school.
3. Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher.
4. Must demonstrate community involvement.
