- Description
The Texas Young Lawyers Association (TYLA) includes a membership of over 34,000 lawyers in their first twelve (12) years of practice. As the public service arm of the State Bar of Texas (SBOT), TYLA is on a mission to expand access to legal knowledge and legal support for Texans. In furtherance of that mission, TYLA is establishing the Public Interest Bar Scholarship to support graduating law students who demonstrated a strong commitment to serving low-income Texans while in law school and plans to continue those efforts after law school. TYLA is proud to offer this scholarship to celebrate their contributions to access to justice, alleviate the financial burden of their bar preparation, and support their future impact on our most vulnerable communities. The five selected students will receive $2,000 each.
