The 2011 program addresses energy futures, shale gas developments, EOR, and industry economics in light of both new EPA regulation of greenhouse gases (GHG) and energy market conditions. Highlights include:

Come a day early for the TxCCSA's program The Future of Texas CCS - 2011 and Beyond.

PDP is an international legal fraternity, focused on ethics, service, and academic excellence. Founded in 1869, its members have included William Rehnquist, Sandra Day O’Connor, Thurgood Marshall, and Franklin Roosevelt. At UT Law, we offer scholarship opportunities, host social events, and organize service projects. We are currently recruiting new members. Look for our table in the Atrium February 8-10. Applications are due by 5 pm, February 15. Membership requires a 3.35 GPA.

This first session of the Early Bar Preparation Series will introduce 3L's to the structure of most state bars, and will also address the Multistate Performance Test (MPT) which is a part of many bar exams. Students can easily begin practicing MPTs NOW in order to be ready for the bar exam in July.

The Alumni Association is hosting a reception for area alumni and admitted students at the Jonathan Club on February 9, 2011 beginning at 5:30 p.m.
