Now is the time for 1Ls to begin preparing to apply for judicial clerkships. Learn what law clerks do; why clerkships help you become a successful lawyer; what judges look for in selecting a law clerk; and what you can do now to become a successful candidate, including which courses to take. Panelists include Todd Bellaire ‘09, Law Clerk to the Honorable Sam Sparks, U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas; Olga Kobzar ‘10, Law Clerk to the Honorable Debra Lehrmann, Supreme Court of Texas; and Professor Emily Kadens, Faculty Clerkship Advisor.
