The William Wayne Justice Center for Public Interest Law is pleased to be a co-sponsor of an upcoming conference “Housing + Transit: Connecting Affordable Homes to Transit-Oriented Development in the Austin Region.” The conference will highlight four nationally recognized programs – Minneapolis, Atlanta, Denver, and Salt Lake City -- along with a local response panel that will include Austin Mayor Leffingwell and Mike Martinez, Austin City Council Member and chair of the Capital Metro board. The conference will be held on Friday, October 21, from 12:30-6:30 p.m. at the LBJ School of Public Affairs, SRH 3, Bass Lecture Hall.
