Catholic Canon Law Presentation

Please join Christian Legal Society for a presentation by local priest, Father Kincl of the Diocses of Austin, on the basics of Catholic canon law. The presentation will be Wednesday February 8th at 9:30am in the Fleming Room. It will be very informal, so if you can only make a portion feel free to come for what you can.

Texas Law Fellowships Informational Meeting

Want to spend your summer making a difference but afraid you can't afford it? Do you have a public interest job for the summer? Interviewing at the Public Service Career Fair?

Texas Law Fellowships gives $4,000 fellowships to students who spend their summers doing at least 10 weeks of public interest work. If you are interested in receiving funding, come to the informational meeting on Wednesday February 8 at 3.15 in 2.138

The bar exam includes The Multistate Bar Exam (MBE), which is 200 multiple choice questions in six basic ares of law. Learn the skills you'll need (and can practice now!) to do well on this part of the bar.

Human Rights Law Society film screening and discussion

Join us on Wednesday as we watch and discuss "Demand," a 45-minute documentary film by Shared Hope International, about the economic side of sex trafficking. The film will be shown in TNH 2.124 at 4pm with a discussion (and pizza) afterwards in TNH 3.119F at 5pm. This is the first in a series of events organized by the Human Rights Law Society about human trafficking.
