With the rise of globalization and international investment, a new field of international law has developed rapidly that defines the obligations of host states toward foreign investors. This symposium will focus on recent developments in international arbitrations arising between investors and Latin American governments. Please join us at noon in the Jamail Pavilion for lunch and then the symposium from 1-4 in JON 5.206.
