Fifty years after the Supreme Court’s landmark decisions on school prayer, many public schools around the country still struggle to honor their basic First Amendment duties.

Daniel Mach, Director of the ACLU Program on Freedom of Religion and Belief, will discuss some of the recurring problems and recent conflicts – including proselytizing school assemblies, sectarian Bible curricula, restrictive student dress codes, and more.
