Are you a 2L thinking of applying for a postgraduate public interest fellowship? Are you a 3L thinking about applying for one after your judicial clerkship? This panel presentation will address how you should be preparing now to position yourself as a viable candidate for these highly competitive fellowships. Panelists include Ian Spechler, '07, Staff Attorney with Disability Rights Texas and former Skadden Fellow; Amelia Ruiz Fischer, ‘12, current EJW Fellow with Texas Civil Rights Project in Austin; Megan Sheffield, ‘13, current 3L fellowship applicant; and Nicole Simmons, Director of Public Service Programs (CSO). Moderated by Mary Crouter, Assistant Director of the William Wayne Justice Center for Public Interest Law. Lunch will be served.
