Come learn about opportunities to practice law in the U.S. Navy JAG Corps program, including the internship program. LT Lauren E. Hugel, JAGC, USN, and Staff Judge Advocate (Fort Worth) will be available to answer questions about the Navy in general, the U.S. Navy JAG Corps program specifically, and will assist students in application process should they decide to apply. Interested in volunteering with American Gateways' Asylum Project? Attend this training!
Student volunteers will assist American Gateways Pro Bono Attorneys in preparing asylum cases. Asylum is available to immigrants who have fled their home countries because of persecution and/or torture due to their race, religion, nationality, political opinion, or membership in a particular social group.
Class year preference: 2L, 3L
