The Texas Journal of Women, Gender, and the Law is proud to present its 2015 Symposium, "In the Limelight: Changing Legal and Ethical Implications of Publicizing Domestic Violence". This Symposium will examine the increasing public backlash and subsequent legal and non-legal consequences of publicizing accusations, charges, and convictions of domestic violence, focusing on several recent high-profile situations. The Symposium will consist of our first speaker at 10.30am, our Keynote Speaker, Rita Smith, at 11.45am, and our afternoon panel at 1pm. Lunch will be provided during the Keynote. Registration and coffee will start at 9.45am.
