On April 15-17, 2015, the Center for Women in Law will convene leaders in law in Austin, Texas for the 2015 Women’s Power Summit on Law and Leadership. The Women's Power Summit, held every two years, is one of the most significant gatherings of women attorneys in the country. Law school deans, general counsel, federal and state judges, members of law firm management, government officials, state bar presidents, and other prominent women lawyers will attend the 2015 Women’s Power Summit, marking the fourth time leaders will gather in Austin to address issues of vital importance to women lawyers.

Please join us for the next event in the Rapoport Center's Human Rights Happy Hour Speaker Series. The event will feature Gilbert Achcar (SOAS, University of London), who will speak on “The Arab Upheaval: Roots, Dynamics, and Prospects.” The event is co-sponsored by Texas A&M University, the University of Texas at San Antonio, and Middle Eastern Studies at UT Austin.
