Jonathan Rapping, President & Founder of Gideon's Promise, will speak from 11:45 AM-12:45 PM on "Gideon's Promise: The Drive to Reform indigent Defense in the South." Rapping, a nationally renowned criminal justice innovator and 2014 MacArthur Foundation “Genius” Fellow, will discuss the evolution of justice in America and the role public defenders play.
