2017 UT Law CLE Criminal Appeals Planning Committee Meeting. Group of about 10-15 attendees, by invitation only. Group will meet from around 10am - 2pm to discuss plans for the 2017 Criminal Appeals program.

Law school exams are a new form of assessement for most first year students. The session will explore how to approach exam questions and strategies for preparation.

Join the KBH Energy Center for a distinguished lecture by Buddy Clarke, a Partner in the Houston office of the law firm Haynes and Boone and the author of Oil Capital: The History of American Oil, Wilcatters, Independents and Their Bankers (2016). Buddy chairs the firm’s Energy Practice Group representing clients in the oil and gas industry, including banks, private capital providers and producers in secured and unsecured credit transactions and equity investments; producers, joint venturers and midstream companies in oil and gas exploration, production and development agreements, and producing property and midstream acquisitions, joint developments and partnerships; and energy related litigation and bankruptcies. In June 2016, Buddy published “Oil Capital: The History of American Oil, Wildcatters, Independents and Their Bankers,” which traces the relationship between independent producers and their capital providers in America’s oil and gas industry.
