The 1L Mock Interview Program allows 1Ls to gain valuable interviewing experience and offer attorneys an opportunity to meet our exceptional students and introduce them to the legal interviewing process.

Mock interviews will be 20-minutes in length followed by a 10-minute review. Dress professionally as you would for a real interview on the day of your mock interview.

Jackson Walker invites all 1L students to stop by for breakfast tacos in the Law School Atrium. Recruiters will be in attendance to answer questions about the firm. Be sure to stop by on your way to class!

Come hear from women working in the technology law field. Panelists are: Laura Frederick, Tacey Davies, Lisa Salinas, Prof. Melissa Wasserman. The panel will be moderated by Clara Chalk.

Lunch will be provided!

Join SBA and Winston & Strawn to hear important information about Big Law. Winston & Strawn Partners will be there to answer any questions you have! Lunch will be provided.

All members of Texas Law’s four affinity organizations (TMLS, OUTLaw, APALSA, and CHLSA) are invited to a Diversity Townhall dinner, hosted by Shavonne Henderson, Rick Garza, and the Student Affairs Office.

All four presidents will be on hand to give brief updates and let us know what’s in store for the spring semester. Shavonne and Rick will also have a brief program, followed by opportunity for students to ask questions. But we mostly just want to provide a space for us all to come together, enjoy each other’s company, celebrate our accomplishments, engage in honest and brave conversations, and break bread together.

Dinner will be served! Please feel free to come late or leave early as your schedule requires!
