BOA Donation Drive for SAFE

Please help the BOA by collecting donations for SAFE Alliance in Austin. We will be hosting a donation drive this week from Monday-Friday collecting items for mothers and children who rely on organizations like SAFE. Please donate what you can so that we can be the voice against violence! The donations will be collected in the BOA room in the journal hall behind the 1L classrooms.

Disability & LGBTQI+ Intersectionality in Litigation

OUTLAW and TLDNA, the Texas Law Disability and Neurodivergent Alliance, partnered on this event exploring the intersection of disability and LGBTQI+ rights. David Knight will speak about his experience working in this area and the most pressing issues facing LGBTQ+ people with disabilities today. David is a trial attorney for the Disability Rights Section of the Civil Rights Division at the Department of Justice. He also co-chairs the LGBTQ+ Working Group and is a member of the steering committee for the White House’s National HIV/AIDs Strategy.
