This moot court competition is open to all UT law students. The moot court format follows the format of an attorney arguing a case on appeal in front of a panel of judges. Competitors will compete as individuals, and this competition will not require a brief to be written.

The Space Security, Safety, and Sustainability (SSSS) Program at The University of Texas at Austin’s (UT) Strauss Center for International Security and Law and the Cockrell School of Engineering, in partnership with the International Academy of Astronautics (IAA), MITRE, and NorthStar Earth and Space, will hold the 11th annual Space Traffic Management conference, “STM: From the Ground Up and Back” on March 4-5, 2025. Additional support is provided by The Aerospace Corporation, Aerospace Policy Solutions, LLC, and Kayhan Space.
Experts from all over the world gathered to discuss and exchange knowledge on Space Traffic Management. Technical sessions will be devoted to several key topics including the environment, economy and operations, and ecosystems.
