Join us for an engaging lunch event exploring international animal law through the lens of the documentary Before She Sleeps. J. Faye Yuan, a bilingual curator with a focus on historical memory, diaspora identity, and climate justice, brings a unique perspective to the intersection of law and storytelling. Her work has been supported by the Asian American Documentary Network, the Center for Asian American Media, and the International Documentary Association.

J. Faye Yuan will present key clips from the film and provide an overview of its powerful story. The discussion will delve into global legal issues surrounding animal rights, conservation, and climate activism, examining how international frameworks and policies shape the protection of animals across borders.

Don't miss this thought-provoking conversation at the intersection of film, law, and advocacy! Lunch will be provided.
