Join the Muslim Legal Society for a discussion on the historic events of Karbala - where Imam Husayn ibn Ali, the grandson of the Prophet Muhammad, was martyred in 680 CE while standing against injustice. We will explore how this legacy continues to shape ideas of justice, sacrifice, and law. Sheikh Jafar Muhibullah will reflect on the enduring significance of Imam Husayn’s stand and its influence on contemporary legal and ethical thought. Lunch will be served.
