Join us for a student career discussion with Brian Fuller, Product Policy Manager at OpenAI, focused on the evolving legal and policy challenges of emerging technology. Brian advises OpenAI’s product teams on privacy, safety, and security, drawing on over a decade of experience at Meta, where he worked on intellectual property, crisis management, and AI governance. A Baylor Law graduate, Brian will share insights on transitioning from traditional legal practice to the fast-paced world of tech, and how lawyers can shape responsible AI and technology policy. Lunch will be provided.
Brian Fuller is a Product Policy Manager at OpenAI. In his role, he is broadly responsible for advising product teams on issues related to privacy, safety, and security. Before joining OpenAI, Brian spent nearly a dozen years at Meta working on issues related to intellectual property, crisis management, and AI governance. Brian graduated from Baylor Law School in 2012 and spent a few years working as an IP lawyer before jumping into the tech world. He lives down in Dripping Springs with his wife, kids, dog, and a flock of chickens.
