Jennifer Toon with Lioness Justice Impacted Women’s Alliance and Karen Muñoz with the National Immigrant Legal Resource Center will discuss how lawyers can engage with communities in ways that honor collective leadership, accountability, and the experiences of those most affected by injustice. Students will gain insight into how to ethically build partnerships and practice law in solidarity with movements. Moderated by Lia Sifuentes Davis, Director of UT Law’s Civil Rights Clinic.
