Description
This course covers the development process of commercial real estate, from land acquisition, to platting, zoning and other land use regulation, to contracts with architects, engineers and builders, to finance of the project and to leasing of the project. The law taught is primarily the practical application of contract law, with some aspects of property law and of regulatory process. A small part of the course will be a review of a residential transaction.
