Professor Mullenix spoke on the topic: "A Good Rulemkaing: Federal Rule 23(f)," at a Symposium on "The New Federal Rules of Civil Procedure: How Will They Affect litigation Strategy and Tactics?," held at the Center for Advocacy and Dispute Resolution at the University of Tennessee College of Law on March 15, 2001, in Knoxville, Tennessee. Professor Mullenix spent two weeks as a scholar-in-residence at the Center, teaching a seminar on the federal rules. Her paper addresses the new provision of the class action rule allowing for interlocutory appeals of class certification decisions. Professor Mullenix's paper will be published in the law review.
