Professor Mullenix spoke on "The Class Action Fairness Act of 2005," as part of the Munich Re Conference on Tort Liability Regimes, in Munich, Germany on October 26-28, 2005.Professor Mullenix discussed the genesis of CAFA, the implications of CAFA for a dual-court system regime; and the opportunities presented by CAFA for forum-shopping by plaintiffs and defendants. Professor Mullenix has written extensive commentary on the Class Action Fairness Act since its Congressional enactment, much of it in her National Law Journal regular column.
