Professor Mullenix spoke on "Understanding the Statute: CAFA Basics," and "Mass Actions: Have 'Mass Actions' Been Subject to Removal," as part of a program sponsored by Thomson-West "The Class Action Fairness Act: One Year Later." This program was held in New York City on June 27, 2006. Professor Mullenix has written extensively on CAFA since Congress enacted the Class Action Fairness Act in February 2005. Much of her commentary and analysis is contained in a series of articles published in Prof. Mullenix's regular column in the National Law Journal.
