Professor Mullenix spoke on the topic of "Looking Beyond the Pleadings in Class Certification Motions," as part of a panel discussion sponsored by the ABA. This program was produced as a teleconference and audio webcast on June 13, 2006. Professor Mullenix addressed the so-called Eisen rule and its role in and implications for class certification proceedings. Professor Mullenix has written extensively on the subject of class certification and evolving jurisprudence relating to class certification standards.
