Professor Mullenix gave two separate talks at the Seminar on Consumer Law, sponsored by the Centro de Estudios de Direito Economico e Scoial (CEDES) in Sao Paulo, Brazil, on November 17-18, 2010. Mullenix spoke on the structure of consumer protection law in the United States, including regulatory agencies and legal regimes. She also spoke on consumer class actions and the ability to pursue aggregate consumer claims in the United States. She was joined on the program with the President of the American Bar Association.
