Professor Mullenix presented a talk entitled: "A Tale of Two Funds," at the 58th Annual Mineral Law Institute, sponsored by Louisiana State University. The program title was: "The BP Gulf Oil Spill and the Future of Mass Tort Litigation." Mullenix's presentation was based on her article: "Prometheus Unbound: The Gulf Coast Claims Facility as a Means for Resolving Mass Tort Litigation -- A Fund Too Far," 71 La. L. Rev. 819 (2011). Speaking with Professor Mullenix were Ken Feinberg, the administrator of the Gulf Coast Claims Facility, and Prof. Francis McGovern, the special master appointed in the BP Gulf Oil Spill MDL in Louisiana federal court.
