Speaker, Symposium on Class Action Litigation

Professor Mullenix was a speaker and participant on two panels at the Symposium on Class Action Litigation, sponsored by the Michigan Journal of Law Reform, at the University of Michigan Law School on March 15-16, 2013. She spoke on the Supreme Court's repudiation of classwide arbitration on a panel dealing with class arbitration and participated in a second panel on possible Rule 23 amendments. The symposium included other academics interested in class action litigation: Margaret Jane Radin (Michigan), David Rosenberg (Harvard), Janet Alexander (Stanford), Brian Fitzpatrick (Vanderbilt), Bob Bone (Texas), Brian Wolfman (Georgetown), and James Cox (Duke). The program also included practicing plaintiff and defense attorneys.
