Speaker, The Class Action Fairness Act of 2005: Perspectives and Predictions"

Professor Mullenix was a speaker at the January 5, 2013 annual meeting of the Association of American Law Schools in New Orleans. She presented a paper during the combined AALS Section on Litigation and Section on Civil Procedure program: "The Class Action Fairness Act of 2005: Perspectives and Predictions." Her paper is entitled: "Class Actions Shrugged: Mass Actions and the Future of Aggregate Litigation," which will be published in volume 23 of the Review of Litigation. Also participating in this AALS program were professors Rick Marcus (Hastings), Jay Tidmarsh (Notre Dame), Georgene Vairo (Loyola L.A.), and attorneys John Beisner (Skadden Arps) and Elizabeth Cabraser (Lieff, Cabraser, Hermann & Bernstein).
