Professor Mullenix participated in the University of Texas School of Law and Oxford University faculty exchange program during May 2013. On May 7th, 2013 she gave the Distinguished Visiting Professor Lecture to the Principles of Civil Procedure class, which included visiting professors from Switzerland and Canada as well as U.S. attorneys. The lecture, entitled “Aggregate Litigation and the Death of Democratic Dispute Resolution,” was based on the article of this title published in 107 Nw. U. L. Rev. 511 (2013) in June 2013. On May 9th she gave a colloquium talk on American class and aggregate litigation at the Oxford Centre for Socio-Legal Studies, under the sponsorship of Prof. Chris Hodges. During her visit to Oxford, Professor Mullenix met with a number of faculty, graduate students, and judges interested in procedure and the resolution of aggregate litigation in the U.K. and civil law countries.
