Presenter, Workshop on Comparative Civil Procedure

Professor Mullenix participated in a multi-day workshop on comparative civil procedure, as part of an ongoing book project to be published by Elgar Press (2023) as a Handbook on Comparative Civil Procedure (edited by Prof. Margaret Woo, Northeastern University Law School, and Prof. Remco von Rhee, Prof. of European Legal History and Comparative Civil Procedure at Maastricht University). Professor Mullenix presented her book chapter, Joinder of Parties and Group Litigation in Common Law and Civil Law Jurisdictions, with co-author Prof. Stefaan Voet of Belgium. Conferees at the workshop included scholars from France, Spain, Argentina, South Africa, Italy, China, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, Romania, and other countries. The workshop was held at the Chateau Neercanne, Maastricht, The Netherlands. The book will be published in summer-fall 2023.
