Sharon Coffee Baxter is an adjunct professor teaching Intensive Litigation Advocacy Skills and Advocacy Practice & Theory for the New Millennium. Professor Baxter brings extensive practical knowledge to her teaching at Texas Law with over 30 years of litigation experience, including 13 years focused exclusively on the Texas property tax system and related legislation.
SHARON COFFEE BAXTER is the managing attorney over the day-to-day activities of MVBA’s Appraisal Litigation Team. She joined MVBA in 2018, and handles appraisal district litigation, appraisal review board litigation, training, and general counsel services. With over 30 years of litigation experience, Ms. Baxter has spent the last 13 years focused exclusively on the Texas Property Tax system and related legislation. She taught trial advocacy at Howard University School of Law, Temple University Beasley School of Law, and the National Institute for Trial Advocacy. She's currently an adjunct with the Trial Advocacy Program, University of Texas Law School.
