Conrad B. Duberstein National Bankruptcy Moot Court Competition

Lisa Elizondo, ’15, and Daniel Hatoum,’16, take third place honors at the 23rd Annual Conrad B. Duberstein National Bankruptcy Moot Court Competition held in New York. Texas Law fielded two teams in this years competition, Liza Elizondo and Daniel Hatoum, and Kelsi Stayart, ’15, Matthew Buongiorno, ’16, and Keyvash Hemyari, ’16.

The team is coached by Deborah B. Langehennig (a Chapter 13 Trustree in bankruptcy in Austin) and by Jay Ong (a partner with Munsch Hardt Kopf and Harr, in Austin), and sponsored by Prof. Jay Westbrook.
