The L. Edward Bryant, Jr. National Health Law Transactional Moot Court Competition

Texas Law sent two teams to competed at the L. Edward Bryant Jr. National Health Law Transactional Moot Court Competition held at Loyola University Chicago School of Law. Team A, C.C. Huang, ’15, Leslie Montalvo, ’15, and Alexcis Nell, ’16, tied for 2nd in the Overall Competition and 2nd in Oral Presentation with the University of Houston Law Center. The second Texas law Team included Wenting Chen, ’15, Alexandra Gutierrez, ’15, and Berenice Medellin, ’15.

The Health Law competition teams were coached by Carlos Ramos, Texas ’12, an attorney at Texas Health and Human Services Commission, with the assistance of Professors Bill Sage, James R. Dougherty Chair of Faculty Excellence, and Jerry Bell of Norton Rose Fulbright.
