Law Students for the Arts is putting on an art show October 4th - October 8th in the atrium. Any student, faculty, or staff member can enter. Entries can include any piece of art capable of being hung, such as: photography, painting, drawing, poetry, etc. For more information or to obtain an entry form, email megan.dagerman@gmail.com. The deadline to enter is September 29th.

Continuing students can early register for Spring 2011 class via the law school system.

Environmental law is a growing field that covers many different issues and career paths. Come learn more about environmental law from practitioners in the public interest, private, and government sector. Lunch will be served after the program. This program is highly recommended for 2Ls and 3Ls who are considering applying for judicial clerkships. Professor Emily Kadens, Professor Elana Einhorn and Director of Judicial Programs, Remi Ratliff, will tell you why clerking is a valuable experience and how to prepare now to become a great applicant. Get tips on selecting courts and judges, asking for letters of recommendation, and putting together a good application.

Learn about various careers in criminal law from a private attorney, prosecutor, and public defender perspective. Panelists will discuss their careers and offer advice on how to land a job in criminal law. Cookies and refreshments will be served after the program.
