District court judges will discuss their courts, how they select clerks, and what their clerks do. Panelists include the Honorable Micaela Alvarez, District Judge, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas; the Honorable Nancy K. Johnson, Magistrate Judge, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas; the Honorable Mark R. Kravitz, District Judge, U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut; and the Honorable Royce C. Lamberth, Chief District Judge, U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. In addition to the panel, take advantage of a great opportunity to learn how these judges decide cases by attending their small group discussions in the afternoon. All students are invited to attend.
