The Texas Journal on Civil Liberties and Civil Rights invites you to participate in its fall 2011 write-on competition. We are seeking 1Ls, 2Ls, and 3Ls with outstanding writing and editing skills and a demonstrated interest in civil liberties and civil rights.

Applications can be picked up at the Circulation Desk starting Monday, August 29 or at the Student Organization Fair on Wednesday, August 31. Applications are due by 5:00pm on Friday, September 2, at 5:00pm to the TJCLCR box at the circulation desk.

Our analysts are skilled subject-matter experts who study and evaluate information from many sources. From this information, they develop useable and meaningful intelligence assessments for the highest levels of government. CIA analysts monitor and assess foreign political developments, leadership, economic issues, military threats and science and technology. Analytic Methodologist; College Students - Analytical; Counterintelligence Threat Analyst; Counterterrorism Analyst; Economic Analyst; Intelligence Collection Analyst; Leadership Analyst; Medical/Health Analyst; Military Analyst Open Source Officer (Foreign Media Analyst); Pat Roberts Intelligence Scholars Program (PRISP); Political Analyst Psychological/Psychiatric Analyst; Science, Technology, and Weapons Analyst; Targeting Analyst; and Technical/Targeting Analyst.

Requirements: 1. All applicants must be US citizens 2. They must be willing to relocate to the Washington DC / Northern VA area 3. Must undergo an extensive background investigation, polygraph and medical evaluation 4. For analytical positions they should have at least a 3.0 GPA (higher is preferred)
