Hosted annually by the UT Law Career Services Office, Public Service Career Fair (PSCF) is the largest public service job fair for law students in Texas. During both days of PSCF, which will be held January 26-27, 2012, public interest and government employers will conduct on-campus interviews for paid and unpaid summer and permanent positions in the Career Services Interview Suit

During the first day of Public Service Career Fair, representatives from public interest organizations, as well as federal, state and local government agencies will host informational tables, which provide an excellent opportunity for students to network and find out about current volunteer opportunities, summer internships and postgraduate positions. All UT Law students are encouraged to stop by. Please be sure to bring a copy of your resume

Reminder for 3Ls planning to sit for the TX July 2012 Bar Exam: in order for your In-State Application to Take the TX Bar Exam to be considered timely-filed it must be postmarked by Jan. 30, 2012. This deadline is strictly enforced. A $150 late fee will apply for all applications filed after Jan. 30 and up to the March 30, 2012 Absolute Deadline.

First, second- and third-year students and alumni up to one year after graduation are eligible to participate in Spring On-Campus Interviews per employer requests. Online bidding takes place January 30-February 6, 2012.

Law students perform in a mock trial with Gold E. Locks, a well-known storybook figure, as the defendant. The Honorable Edward C. Prado, Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, will preside. Children in the courtroom will be selected to serve as the jurors.
