Now is the time for 1Ls to begin preparing to apply for judicial clerkships. Learn what law clerks do; why clerkships help you become a successful lawyer; what judges look for in selecting a law clerk; and what you can do now to become a successful candidate, including which courses to take. Panelists include the Honorable Jennifer Elrod, Judge on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, and her law clerk, Shane Pennington ’10.
