A panel of Texas federal judges will discuss judicial clerkships at their courts and what students can do to make themselves competitive clerkship candidates. Panelists include Judge Catharina Haynes, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit; Judge Rodney Gilstrap, U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas; Judge Craig Gargotta, U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Texas; and Magistrate Judge David Counts, U.S. Magistrate Court for the Northern District of Texas. Moderated by Dean Stefanie Lindquist. The Clerkship Advisors encourage 2Ls and 3Ls applying for judicial clerkships this year and 1Ls hoping to apply next summer to attend this panel.
