    Interviewing and Etiquette 101

    Learn what you need to know to succeed at on-campus interviews. Ray Guy, '76, Litigation Partner, and Elizabeth Jensen, Legal Recruiting & Associate Programs Coordinator, with Weil, Gotshal & Manges (Dallas) and Morgan Matson, '99, President of Preferred Counsel Legal Placement Services (San Antonio), will discuss how to sell yourself in a 20-minute interview, what employers are looking for in an ideal candidate, common interview questions, and mistakes you should avoid. They will also talk about professional etiquette for receptions, meals, and correspondence, and answer any additional questions you may have. Lunch will be served.     TX Feb '13 Bar Exam App Timely Deadline

    Reminder for 3Ls planning to sit for the Texas February 2013 Bar Exam: in order for your In-State Application to Take the TX Bar Exam to be considered timely-filed it must be postmarked by Aug. 30. This deadline is strictly enforced. A $150 late fee will apply for all applications filed after Aug. 30 and up to the Oct. 30 absolute postmark deadline.

    Applicants who have not yet filed their Declaration of Intention to Study Law must do so prior to or with their In-State Application.
