    The Human Rights Law Society (HRLS) of the University of Texas School of Law is hosting its opening meeting of the year. Students will learn about HRLS, meet current HRLS members, and learn about what HRLS has done in the past.     SCOTUS Review

    On Thursday, Sept. 6, 11:30 am – 1 pm, you are invited to attend the SCOTUS review of prominent decisions of last term. Joey Fishkin, Bill Sage and Larry Sager will address aspects of the Obamacare decision and Mike Churgin and Barbara Hines will discuss the Arizona immigration law case. The talk will take place in the Francis Auditorium. Pizza will be served.

    This is an organizational meeting for students who are interested in participating in the 20th annual Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot. The goal of the Vis Arbitration Moot is to foster the study of international commercial law and arbitration for resolution of international business disputes through its application to a concrete problem of a client and to train law leaders of tomorrow in methods of alternative dispute resolution.
