Joseph B. C. Fitzsimmons, partner, Uhl, Fitzsimons, Jewett & Burton, PLLC, will give a KBH Energy Center Distinguished Lecture from 12-1 p.m. on Tuesday, April 7, 2015.
Mr. Fitzsimons a natural resources, oil and gas and water law attorney and third-generation South Texas rancher. From 2001-2007, Mr. Fitzsimons was on the Texas Parks and Wildlife Commission.
For his KBH Energy Center Distinguished Lecture, Mr. Fitzsimons will give an overview of some of the key issues that landowners and oil and gas companies deal with in Texas and the challenges that accompany the presence of endangered species on the land, as well as other environmental concerns. He will also speak about his practice and his experience as chair of TPWD.
