Challenges of the Latino Community in 2016 and the Years to Come

Exhilarating conversation of the most current topics affecting Latinos and other minorities in the US in the years to come. Our panels include:

1) Affirmative action and the Fischer decision 2) Ethical issues of advocating for affirmative action 3) The Evenwell litigation and its possible repercussions on voting rights 4) Political power of Latinos in Texas in the years to come 5) Refusal of birth certificates to children born from undocumented parents 6) Affirmative action in the work place

This adds up to 6 hours of CLE Credit (including one Ethics credit).
