The Thad T. Hutcheson First-Year Moot Court competition is a 64-person, single-elimination tournament for first-year law students at the University of Texas School of Law.

Please bring your favorite travel mug from home (we are “going green,” so no paper products will be provided) and enjoy FREE coffee every Monday morning to start off your week on behalf of the Alumni Association. Coffee will be located at one, large station located near the 1L Classrooms (by TNH 2.140, TNH 2.139, etc.) beginning at 8:45 am.

The Law School is hosting a visit by the Judge Advocate General of the U.S. Army, Flora Darpino. Professor Robert Chesney, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, has arranged a session for her to speak with students interested in the possibility of a JAG career, Army or otherwise, and of course it would be interesting as well for those who don’t plan such a career but nonetheless want a better understanding of military lawyers.
