June 14
  1. All day
2017 Boston and New York Job Fairs Open

The application period for both the 2017 UTexas on Tour: Boston Job Fair Walk-Around and New York Job Fair begins on Wednesday, June 14 at Noon (CT) and ends Wednesday, June 21 at Noon (CT). While the application process is not on a first-come, first-served basis, we strongly encourage students to apply as soon as possible to avoid any document upload/conversion errors in Symplicity.

NOTE: Your transcript is NOT automatically updated in Symplicity. Please upload the most recent version of your transcript using the CSO transcript generator at: https://utdirect.utexas.edu/locso/trap.WBX.

Please read the step-by-step instructions below on submitting your application:

Login to Symplicity ( https://law-utexas-csm.symplicity.com/students ) 1. Click on the [ Interview Programs ] tab on the top navigation bar. 2. Click on the [ Employers/Applications ] tab. 3. Filter the employer list by selecting [ 2017 Boston Job Fair Walk-Around] or [2017 New York Job Fair ] from the [ Session ] drop-down menu. Click [ Search ]. The resulting list of employers contains only those that have requested your class year. These are the employers you are eligible to submit (apply) your resume to. 4. Click the [ Review ] button from the list of employers. You will then be redirected to a review page. 5. To apply, click the [ Apply ] button in the [ Bid Details ] box to the right of the screen. Pay close attention to this box. If a document type is listed here, it is a REQUIRED document for this specific employer. For example: If "cover letter" is in this box, and "none found" is to the right, you must return to the [ Documents ] section and upload a cover letter. 6. Note: Your "default resume" will be included with each application. To submit a different resume (or any requested documents) from those uploaded in your [ Documents ] section, select the appropriate document from the drop-down in the [ Bid Details ] box. 7. Note: UT Law Symplicity requires you to rank each employer for which you submit an application (bid). You will notice a [ Bid ] drop-down box. Because these fairs are 100% preselect, which means employers choose who they want to interview, the bid box is irrelevant. You must still rank your bid, however. 8. Note: The [ Preferred Location(s) ] box will appear on most applications. - If there is only one office, list this office. - If there is more than one office for the application, type in all offices of interest.

Please make sure that you finalize your selections before the application submission deadline.
