2Ls and 3Ls: The Honors Program at the Office of the Solicitor provides challenging professional opportunities for outstanding law school graduates. Honors Program attorneys work in the Solicitor’s Office either at the department’s headquarters in Washington, D.C., or in one of seven regional offices, gaining exposure to a broad range of substantive legal work in one of the government’s preeminent legal offices. Please join us for lunch and for more information on the Honors Program!

Ken Kramer, Water Resources Chair of the Sierra Club - Lone Star Chapter, and Chris Mullins, Legislative and Policy Consultant, will be talking about water issues addressed in the 2017 Texas legislative session. Ken has been involved in water legislation in Texas for over thirty years, and Chris recently began working with Ken during this past session. Ken will cover groundwater issues, and Chris will cover surface water issues. Both will be great professional contacts for anyone who hopes to pursue water law or any type of environmentally positive lobbying.
