The Texas Law Alumni Association's Townes Hall Morning Coffee will kick off on the first day of class Wednesday, August 28th, and continue on Mondays through the fall semester. Open to all students every Monday morning! Please bring your favorite travel mug (we are going green, so no paper products will be provided) and enjoy FREE coffee every Monday morning to start your week off right on behalf of the Alumni Association. Coffee will be located at one, large stations located near the 1L Classrooms (by TNH 2.140, TNH 2.319) beginning at 8:45am until it's gone, so get there early!

Tarlton is throwing open its doors for Texas Law students to discover more about our services and collection. You’ll get to see various materials we have and chat with the librarians about the resources at your disposal. There will be treats and drawings for prizes at different stations. Panelists will be answering questions as to appropriate wear for every occasion including court room attire, happy hours, and various social events. Texas Law welcomes Chasity Henry, ’06, Assistant General Counsel at Kimberly-Clark Corporation and DAPP Board Member, for an informational dinner on the Diverse Attorney Pipeline Program.

The Diverse Attorney Pipeline Program (DAPP) is a non-profit corporation that addresses the continued and systematic decline of women of color lawyers in large law firms and across other coveted positions in the legal profession. DAPP Direct is a program that aims to diversify the legal profession by expanding opportunities for women of color law students to secure summer positions at law firms and corporations following their first year of law school.
