    Townes Hall Monday Morning Coffee

    The Texas Law Alumni Association's Townes Hall Morning Coffee will kick off on the first day of class Wednesday, August 28th, and continue on Mondays through the fall semester. Open to all students every Monday morning! Please bring your favorite travel mug (we are going green, so no paper products will be provided) and enjoy FREE coffee every Monday morning to start your week off right on behalf of the Alumni Association. Coffee will be located at one, large stations located near the 1L Classrooms (by TNH 2.140, TNH 2.319) beginning at 8:45am until it's gone, so get there early!

    One Month Down, What’s Next?

    Now that you’ve settled into more of a routine, the questions you have will have changed. You know how to brief a case and cold calls are no longer just a scary tale 2Ls tell to psych you out. But now that you know the basics, you’re probably asking yourself, what’s next? How do I know if I’m doing well? Should I join a study group? How bad is this memo thing, really?     The Texas Law Aggie Society, a student organization for students who attended Texas A&M University for their undergraduate education, will be hosting a luncheon for its Board of Advisors.     Texas Transactional Skills Competition

    During the Fall, the Texas Business Law Society (TBLS) hosts the Texas Transactional Skills Competition, where 1Ls and 2Ls gain valuable experience cultivating their drafting and negotiating skills, testing those skills against fellow law students in competition rounds. This year, the competition will be hosted on October 5th at the University of Texas School of Law.
